Safeguarding Policy
1.Introduction


This safeguarding policy outlines the Yogazi Health and Wellbeing CIC commitment to creating a safe
environment for all individuals involved in our activities, including employees, volunteers, and
participants. We recognize our responsibility to ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals
associated with our organization and will take all necessary steps to prevent harm and protect those at
risk.


2. Scope


This policy applies to all individuals involved in the Yogazi Health and Wellbeing CIC Company,
including but not limited to employees, volunteers, participants, and service
users.It also applies to all activities,programs, and events organized by the company.
3. Principles
We are committed to the following principles to safeguard individuals
associated with our organization:-
Promoting a culture of
respect, equality, and diversity
- Providing a safe
environment for all
individuals
- Preventing harm and
abuse of any kind
- Responding promptly
and appropriately to
safeguarding concerns
- Ensuring all employees
and volunteers are trained
in safeguarding practices
- Working in partnership
with external agencies and
organizations to protect
individuals
4. Responsibilities
All employees, volunteers,and participants of the Yogazi Health and Wellbeing CIC Company are
responsible for safeguarding individuals and reporting any safeguarding concerns to the designated
safeguarding officer
The designated safeguarding
officer is responsible for:
YOGAZI HEALTH AND WELLBEING CIC
- Developing and
implementing safeguarding
policies and procedures
- Providing safeguarding
training to employees and
volunteers
- Responding to
safeguarding concerns and
allegations
- Reporting safeguarding
concerns to the appropriate
authorities
5. Procedures
In the event of a safeguarding concern or allegation, individuals should report the issue
to the designated safeguarding officer immediately. The safeguarding officer will
investigate the concern, take appropriate action to protect the individual at risk, and report the issue to
the relevant authorities if necessary.
6. Confidentiality
All safeguarding concerns and allegations will be treated with the utmost
confidentiality. Information will only be shared on aneed-to-know basis to protect the individual atrisk
and ensure appropriate action is taken.
7. Training
All employees and volunteers of the Yogai Health and Wellbeing CIC will receive safeguarding training
to ensure they are aware of the signs of abuse and know how to respond to safeguarding concerns.
8. Review
This safeguarding policy will be reviewed annually to ensure it remains up to date and effective in
protecting individuals associated with our organization.
